The Toronto Centre for the Arts is pleased to welcome exciting talent fro the Toronto FRINGE Festival chosen by jury to be part of the Best of the Toronto FRINGE Festival. The following 8 shows will be performed on the stage of our intimate Studio Theatre from JULY 18 to AUGUST 3, 2012!

HELP YOURSELF

Donny wants to help Ted do a bad thing...Hot on the heels of the Next Stage Festival hit, LOVESEXMONEY, comes a dark comedy about a man whose job is to justify the immoral acts that most of us only dream of.

MAHMOUD

MAHMOUD is a one-woman show about an aging Iranian engineer-cum-taxi driver, a fabulously gay Spaniard, and a preteen Iranian-Canadian girl, all trying to get by the day-to-day grind in the city that they call home: Toronto.

RARE

Nick feels like tall sexy grass and Mike dives deep into poetry. Krystal thinks about prenatal testing, while Nada speaks in four languages. They are all RARE and part of a nine-member ensemble that have Down syndrome. Be prepared to rethink whatever you thought about intelligence, soul and heart.
